Douglas Fir GluLam T&G 1x6

Milled from salvaged Douglas Fir (Doug Fir) Glulam (Glue Laminated) beams, this Tongue and Groove (T & G) flooring product provides a very creative re-use opportunity. Note the interesting patterns from the cross-section of the Glulam, including the finger joints.

This recycled wood provides an interesting glimpse into the lifecycle of some of America's building materials. The salvaged glulam beams from which this product is milled were probably installed in commercial buildings in the 1950's; those buildings are already being torn down to make way for concrete, steel, and glass structures.
