Redwood Old Growth 2" x 3"

This is truly stunning ancient wood; its deep purple hue exudes a quiet, calm dignity that makes us feel we are meditating in the safe harbor of a redwood grove.

Milled from salvaged Old Growth Redwood railroad ties, this recycled redwood is finished S4S. We were happy to discover that we could recover such solid dimensions as 2" x 3" x 6'. The vertical grain is very tight. Color varies from reddish to deep purple. Some square spike holes remain in the milled wood, so solid lengths are necessarily reduced. Six feet (6') is the longest length we have recovered.

We have a large supply of salvaged redwood railroad ties that remain unmilled; we expect similar results as described above, but cannot guarantee that.
