This is very inviting, solid wood; its deeper reddish, gray, and brownish hues suggest wisdom and resiliency.

We show the "as is" state of this siding to enable clients to see the starting position for recycled redwood. Some clients prefer the roughest possible surface. We trust that other clients understand that various types of milling processes will transform the existing salvaged redwood into beautiful finished products.

Note the clear, vertical grain. Color is darker than our 1 x 8 siding, varying from the medium reddish tones of the piece on the left to the grayer, browner medium tones of the wood on the right. Some nail holes exist on the ends and occasionally on the face.

At 13/16" thick before milling, clients might consider this for a very special exterior application.
